About This Quote

To deny the battle is unwise. To believe that I can fight it without God is insane. To actually do so is suicidal. No wonder so many of us walk around looking like death warmed over.

The idea of not fighting the battle or believing that you can win without God in your corner just doesn’t make sense to me. For these reasons, I always feel like I’m walking around looking like death warmed over. The fact that I’m alive is an amazing miracle, but when it comes to my spirit, I feel like it is dead in a box.

One day I’ll be free and go to heaven, but until then, I must continue my fight in this life.
